Racing:

The Piseco Yacht Club runs races every weekend from July 4 through the Labor Day weekend, with two races every Saturday, and two races on many Sundays. There is also a four-race Senior Regatta .

Membership:

You are welcome to join the Yacht Club as either a sailing member or as a social member to participate in the activities of the club and help support the club's program.

If you are hesitant to join as a sailing member because you are not familiar with sailboat racing rules or protocol, you are welcome to join a few races and have one of our members either sail with you or help you with some basic instruction.

Boats:

We race mainly Sunfish, Flying Scots, Hobie Cats, a Thistle, a Lightning and a Flying Dutchman, but all types of sailboats are allowed. Boats are handicapped by class, so slower types of boat can win!

Other events:

The club sponsors an annual David Ford Poker Run to benefit of the Piseco Volunteer Ambulance Corps.

Annual social events also include a July 4 Boat Parade, Moonlight Kayak Paddle, a preaseason meeting,
a picnic in July, and an awards party at the end of August.
