Early July Races See Big Wind, Big Drama, Great Competition.

It's Raining Sunfish. And Flying Scots.

How was July 2017 on Piseco? The answer, my friends, was blowing in the wind. Lots of entries, including a raft of tough Sunfish competitors, battled and enjoyed winds at or above 15 mph, resulting in some great races, a raft of breakdowns and DNFs by usually reliable racers, and a spate of high overall placings for small planing boats like Peter McIlroy's, David Belleville's, and Michael Belleville's Sunfish and Roy Cooley's featherweight Aero 7.

Tom Tys, sailing solo on his Sunfish, had to make it home the hard way on July 9.
