How was July 2017 on Piseco? The answer, my friends, was blowing in the wind. Lots of entries, including a raft of tough Sunfish competitors, battled and enjoyed winds at or above 15 mph, resulting in some great races, a raft of breakdowns and DNFs by usually reliable racers, and a spate of high overall placings for small planing boats like Peter McIlroy's, David Belleville's, and Michael Belleville's Sunfish and Roy Cooley's featherweight Aero 7.
